Located in a Dutch forest, the structure is sizable and the floor plan spans over five floors, two of which are underground. The home's exterior is actualized with a number of geometric volumes that are strategically arranged to openly communicate with the surrounding landscape.
Russell Jones produces a minimalist concrete house "that is oriented to optimize its exposure to sunlight and relationship with [...] the gardens." As a result, the contemporary and sophisticated aesthetic of the architectural composition openly communicates with the surrounding natural environment, creating a well-balanced narrative between the Scandinavian forest and the family home.
