Udder-Mimicking Milk Dispensers

‘Vache à Lait’ Seeks to Recreate the Farm-to-Table Experience

Design Studio 55 has created a unique milk dispenser called ‘vache à lait,' which was submitted to The Milk Factory for its 'What's Next for Milk?' competition.

This product is a combination of two items; one is the actual milk dispenser called the 'domestic cow' that releases the milk and the other is the 'milking glass,' which is the cup. The interesting concept hopes to remind consumers of the ways in which people obtain food products as well as other products and that these systems should not be taken for granted.

Design Studio 55 found inspiration to create a product that emphasized the importance of farm-to-table eating. The vache à lait recreates the feelings of authentic procedure of obtaining fresh, raw, unpasteurized milk directly from the cows.
