Microsoft Office Online Replaces Office Web Apps

Microsoft has rebranded its Office Web Apps to become Microsoft Office Online. This is more or less an online version of its Office Suite. The less confusing name and really simple to find tools will make Office Online much more user friendly. The new site just asks you to click on Word, Outlook, People, OneNote, PowerPoint, Calendar, Excel or OneDrive and sign in with a Microsoft account and you're golden.

Microsoft added a lot of new document templates to the Office Online. They also added a new dropdown that allows you to switch between apps easily. The rebranding is displayed a day after Microsoft transitioned SkyDrive into OneDrive. The new Microsoft Office Online comes across as much more user friendly and convenient which is perfect for anyone trying to multitask while using their computers.
