Spherical Appliance Sanitizers

The Microclean Uses Steam to Scour the Inside of Your Microwave

Even those who experience feelings of satisfaction while they scrub every surface in their home would undoubtedly appreciate a tool or two which might lighten the labor. The Microclean is itself an appliance, designed to improve one's interaction with another.

Alastair Crompton's invention works to help you wash the inside of your microwave through the use of steam. Its spherical receptacle can be filled effortlessly in your kitchen sink, placed onto its tripod, fastened with its spritzing cap and inserted into your zapper to undergo a bit of heat and a helpful spin.

As the water warms in the base of the Microclean, it converts into a gas which builds pressure beneath the domed cap. Steam is released through five pinholes in the semispherical top, loosening up all hardened spatters inside your dirty kitchen appliance.
