Dissolving Statue Films

The Melting Statue of Liberty Hits Home with Global Warming Concerns

Artist Vicent Ullmann, who primarily works in the film realm, created a short 3D video called 'Melting Statue of Liberty.' The slightly disturbing/terrifying video captures Miss Liberty melting from the heat.

The giant Roman Goddess transforms from a patriotic statue to a melted pile of goo and bones. All that's left of her is a skeleton frame. Ullmann used free stock footage of the statue and rendered it using multiple software platforms, including Naiad, Arnold and NukeX.

This piece demonstrates the global warming crisis that's taking over the world. Although many argue that this development is not a scientific fact and merely a theory, it cannot be denied that the weather is becoming hotter and hotter during the summer months in certain parts of the world.
