IKEA's meatballs are famous and for the first time ever, the signature dish is getting its own meatball plate thanks to a collaboration between the furniture retailer and Swedish designer Gustaf Westman. "The design is simple, lining up the meatballs so each one is visible, like they’re sitting on little thrones," said Westman, "And while it was created with meatballs in mind, it works just as well for many other dishes."
The meatball plate was made to make preparing and enjoying meatballs all the more special, no matter one's preference, since IKEA's range of options has expanded to include a plant ball, vegetable ball, chicken ball, and salmon ball.
The porcelain plate created by IKEA and Gustaf Westman is just one design in an upcoming 12-piece collection created to reimagine modern celebrations.
