Toadstool-Shaped Furniture Collections

The New Pieces from Masquespacio are Inspired by Toadstools

Valencia studio Masquespacio recently designed a whimsical collection for the Spanish brand Missana. With its colorful fabrics and rounded shapes, the collection is perfect for consumers who are interested in making their home feel a bit more playful.

Masquespacio's Toadstool collection features a two-seater sofa, a coffee table and a number of stools. Each piece features rounded edges that resemble that of toadstools. For an added pop of color, the studio chose an unexpected color palette of mint and forest greens, deep navy and bright pink. These colors were largely inspired by the Post-modern design group Memphis. As a finishing touch, the pieces are mounted on Sottsass-inspired pedestals made from materials such as wood, marble and gold-plated metal.

The bold and whimsical collection is perfect for consumers looking for unexpected yet modern home decor.
