Simultaneous Multi-City Popstars

Mariah Carey Hologram Performs in Five Cities At the Same Time

A Mariah Carey hologram appeared on the stages of five different European cities at the same time. This innovative stunt involving the globally loved pop star was part of the 'Life is for Sharing' campaign by Deutsche Telekom's T-Mobile brand.

Simultaneously performing in Germany, Croatia, Macedonia, Montenegro and Poland, the Mariah Carey hologram was witnessed by thousands of fans. The form appeared on the stage for 10 minutes, singing and dancing with real dancers, and at the end of the performance, the Mariah Carey hologram burst into little red pieces. According to BrandChannel, the hologram was created using Musion technology’s Musion Eyeliner that allows for the projection of images onto a live stage setting.

Carey described the experience as the "first step in an interesting journey." She went on to say, "this is probably just a tiny step in the direction we can go as artists and performers to really help unite our fans, our audiences and ultimately hopefully the world."
