Practicing at chess means having an opponent which can be difficult or impossible at times, so the Manya Cynus has been developed with this in mind. The chess set robot maintains a compact design that will accommodate being brought anywhere and setup with ease, and utilizes an artificial intelligence (AI) vision camera with intelligent capabilities to challenge chess players. The unit offers eight levels of challenges to choose from and also accommodates jumping back into gameplay at leisure to quickly resume after a break.
The Manya Cynus portable chess set robot system will provide more than 10-hours of gameplay per charge and features an open source protocol. The system is being launched as part of a Kickstarter campaign with pledges starting at $190.
