Mango Shop Pop-Ups

For One Day, the National Mango Board Set Up 'The Mango Store'

To brighten the dreary days of winter, the National Mango Board launched The Mango Store pop-up for just one day in New York City.

With an open-concept layout that resembled iconic Apple Stores, The Mango Store gave people in the city the chance to learn more about the "king of fruits" by discovering their flavor, the culture behind them, their nutritional values and the many ways in which they can be enjoyed. As well as offering product education, The Mango Store also helped to address obstacles such as the fact that many shoppers avoid buying mangos simply because they don't know how to select the ripe ones.

To inspire people to see mangos in a different light outside of the summer season, The Mango Store treated people to tastings and live recipe demonstrations by celebrity nutritionist Kimberly Synder.
