The piñata is inexpensive to make and if you’re a crafter, you might even have all the supplies you need already. The gingerbread piñata is made from cardboard and taped around the edges — leaving a spot to fill it with candy. With a template, recreating this gingerbread piñata is a snap.
After the body of the gingerbread piñata has been made, the piñata really starts to take on its shape with the addition of fringed strips of brown crepe paper.
