Junya Watanabe Gives a Unique Twist to the MA-1 Jacket

Designer Junya Watanabe works in collaboration with Alpha Industries on a new iteration of the MA-1 bomber jacket, creating a unique angle to the classic silhouette. The two take the timeless design and deliver a limited-edition jacket that boasts elements true to a bomber jacket and a blazer.

This fusion of design uses upcycled processes of the classic construction, retaining the fabrication. New updates can be seen in the form of exterior buttons to push forward its overall functionality, creating a more tailored shape. It also has more paneling to the design and the classic orange lining is more visible. This adaptable new piece is now available to shop and is only available in Japan.
