Helmut Lang introduces its latest Logo Hack collection for the Spring/Summer 2019 season and it features a plethora of logomania themes. The capsule is created with the help of Slava Mogutin, a Russian-American artist, now based in New York, and his director Jan Wandrag as well. The capsule feature pieces such as tees, sweaters, and nylon tops that are slightly sheer. All of the tops are adorned in collaborative slogan graphics that read "Stock Boyz," "1-833-HELL-YES (1-833-4355-937)," and "Helmut Go-Go."
Notably, if the aforementioned number is dialed, it leads callers to a pre-recorded conversation with Slaca that leads to a number of events experienced through the phone. The fonts that inform the prints are directed to the concept of challenging gender stereotypes, placed in hyper-masculine areas that are often used in workwear designs -- t is mimicked through the font's shape and color accents.
