Vienna-based Loebell Architects recently shot a series of photographs of its 'N.Y. Loft.' The design is inspired by classic New York City lofts. The quintessential qualities of this style, explains Loebell on its Behance page, are epitomized in Andy Warhol's 'Factory' studio.
The N.Y. Loft is open-concept, of course. However, instead of one large room, the space is divided into three 'boxes' through a combination of curtains and sliding doors. Areas of the loft are also acoustically separated from one another using glass, thereby providing some much welcome privacy and quietude.
In terms of aesthetics, the loft incorporates touches of older continental design -- chandeliers and oil portraits -- into a sleek, immaculate modern look that screams comfort and luxury.
