Hublot Taps Daniel Arsham to Create the Light & Time Piece

Hublot taps the talents of multidisciplinary artist Daniel Arsham to work on the new icy Light & Time installation. It is essentially a large sundial that uses the Swiss Alps as the foundational canvas. From this, Arsham carves out an outdoor watch onto the large Matterhorn peak in order to "start the clock on the new collaboration" as noted in a press release.

\It is an icy design that measures 20 meters made up of the mountain's natural materials of only snow and ice. The screws are also made from ice along the clock's bezel as a nod to the signature Big Bang piece by Hublot. Additionally, when the sun hits the obelisk in the middle, a shadow is cast to unveil the time.
