Light Painting WiFi Takes Turns Internet Ports Around the City Into Art

Light Painting WiFi is the creation of Timo Arnall, Jorn Knutsen, Einar Sneve Martinussen and is interesting perspective on the wireless connections found around town. In Oslo, Norway the three of them devised a four-meter high stick that emits LED lights and then proceeded to walk around town picking up the the thousands of WiFi signals in the busy town.

Light Painting WiFI is an art project that visualizes WiFi networks and the signals they produce that are invisible to the naked eye. Light Painting WiFi was not only for the amazing graphical wonder it produced but also for constructive research. The data collected from the various WiFi networks was evaluated and researched on the quality of wireless networks in Oslo.
