The Life360 App Has 'Bubbles' for Location Approximations

The Life360 app recently launched a family location sharing feature, named Bubbles. The new Bubbles feature keeps some level of privacy, and only a general location is shown. In the Life360 app members of your Life360 Circle are depicted by a larger bubble, this can be adjusted from anywhere between 1-25 miles.

The Bubble can be shared anywhere between 1-6 hours. However, if any type of emergency is detected the bubble stops. Parents can also burst a bubble on the Life360 app, however, the other user will be notified.

The new Bubble feature was lanched due to conversations between the company CEO, Chris Hulls, and teen users who felt that their privacy was not being respected.
