Slim Multi-legged Loungers

The Levity Chaise Longue Gives the Illusion That People Are Floating

The Levity chaise longue looks like an abstract insect. Its slim structure, multi-legged supports and long form appears to be modeled after a centipede of some sort. Nevertheless, as its name suggests, the Levity chaise longue's thin legs are meant to make it look like the person reclining in the seat is floating in midair.

Created by industrial designers Zsanett Benedek and Daniel Lakos, the Levity chaise longue is made out of 12 millimeter thick birch plywood and 12 millimeter thick birch rods. Lightweight but surprisingly sturdy, the Levity chaise longue is a stunning piece of furniture that will add a surreal touch of character to any home. Beautifully sculptural, the abstract geometries of the seat give it a uniquely striking look.
