Cabinet doors, drawers nor shelves can be found within the 'Let's Dance' console. It's apparent that the designer of this chic sideboard wished to create a spectacle of its organizational strategy and of the owner's arranged possessions.
Elsa Randé began with a solid oak box that acts as a broad rectangular cubby. It's open at the back and the front and stands perched atop four short but playful triangular feet. The piece is just 55 centimeters tall so it would serve well as a quirky side or bedside table. What is most notable about the 'Let's Dance' console, however, is what's going on inside.
Green and blue "scoubidou" wires were strung throughout the storage system, producing a charming stitched pattern over the timber and dynamic detail in their clustered spans. The narrow gaps between the cords provide the perfect places to stash and display vinyls, magazines and more.
