Luca Nichetto Designs the Legato Lighting for Matter Made

Luca Nichetto designed the Legato lighting system for Matter Made and it is inspired by a musical reference which means an unbroken series of notes. In Italian, it translates to 'tied together' which indicates that the notes should be played in a smooth sequence.

The structural design appears to have sections that are pinned together and stacked on top of one another on top of a delicate frame made from aluminum materials. The units are shaped like cones and they cascade downwards in a verticle form. The shades have a reserve and regular shape with a soft illumination that exudes a warm hue to the interior space that it hits. The shades can also be positioned in various ways to create a custom lighting solution.
