With the soccer club Atletico Madrid set to move into a new stadium in Spain next season, the Philips 'ArenaExperience' LED illumination system will also be included to provide custom lighting.
The system is controlled via the Philips ColorKinetics system, which enables the illumination system to be changed whenever desired. This enables the lighting to be changed for when fans are entering the stadium, when a goal is scored and much more.
The new Philips 'ArenaExperience' LED illumination system will compromise 336 floodlights for the field area, whereas the VayaFlood system will be built into the overhead roof. The lighting will be capable of displaying 16-million different colors to enable the stadium to react accordingly to different events, games and much more.
