Le Goûter Captures the Experience of a Parisian Cake Shop Excursion

Le Goûter is the latest addition to The Lakes Distillery's Whiskymaker’s Editions series and it is a patisserie-influenced single malt that was inspired by a "childhood cake shop excursion" in Paris. The second addition to the Whiskymaker’s Editions stays true to the spirit of the series and allowed for plenty of creative freedom during the production process.

To capture the fresh and free-spirited nature of the whisky, The Lakes Distillery worked with artist Eili-Kaija Kuusniemi to create a design that conveys its unique essence with vibrant watercolors. The whisky is said to share fragrant notes of anglaise and jasmine, plus a touch of pear, citrus zest and freshly baked madeleines to truly leave drinkers feeling transported to a Parisian bakery during the spring. The new expression is exclusive to luxury retailer Harvey Nichols.
