Spanish designer Patricia Urquiola broadened her design resume by creating the Lariana bathroom collection for Agape. The name of the line recalls Lake Como, which was originally coined "Larius," and is the location where Urquiola had designed the II Sereno hotel. The Lariana bathtub will be incorporated in the hotel's bathrooms, merging together the designs of clean lines and compressed silhouettes by Urquiola.
The entire collection pays tribute to the early 20th century Milan architecture styles. The sinks are made in two different styles, designed to be either round or oval, both resting on a countertop. The curved designs are meant to show a contrast between themselves and the linear design of its foundation. The bathtubs are made in a Cristalplant biobased material or in marble, and the unique sinks are also in Cristalplant, but offer choices of white, light gray or dark gray.
