Hotel Seehof is a lakeside hotel located on a high plateau near Brixen—a town in South Tirol. The family-run business is situated by the local lake Flötscher Weiher. In 2017 the hotel owners employed noa* (network of architecture) to create a wellness center, which built upon the recreational value in nature through open-concept, panorama-revealing sizable windows, transitional spaces and indoor patios.
noa* created a pool and sauna area that "connects structurally with the surrounding landscape." The mastery of blending environments is most noticeable in the sunbathing-appropriate oblique roof top as the "green area seamlessly transitions into the surrounding forests and fruit orchards." Through installing the wellness center, the lakeside hotel offers guests not only stress-free scenery, but accompanying services to help with relaxation as well.
