Krampus Is Coming

Once a regional legend, Krampus is coming on strong this holiday season as he invades the US. Appearances on The Colbert Show, American Dad, Grim, The League, and others, paved the way for not one but two feature films this holiday season. The first, Krampus, features an all star cast and special f/x Hollywood insiders are calling "stunning". The second, A Christmas Horror Story, features William Shatner and promises to thrill even the most jaded of horror fans. The most anticipated Krampus item on everyone's gift list is Contemporary Krampus, a new book by curator of curiosities and "Ripley's Believe It Or Not" star, Mike Drake. In Contemporary Krampus, Drake gathers 70 artists to create new portraits of Krampus going about his business gathering naughty children and carrying them off to destinations unknown. After Krampus' apperance on the Tonight Show it is easy to see how Krampus is far more effective at keeping children from straying onto the "naughty" list. Both Krampus films open in theaters in December, Contemporary Krampus is available on Amazon now.
