With an estimated 94 million registered users, Sina.com is one of China's largest Internet portals; PSFK reports that within two days of Bryant's blog launch, his first entry had over 120,000 views and over 4,800 comments.

Bryant has always been enthralled with the international scene; he credits growing up in Italy as a central part of learning to appreciate other cultures and languages. "Kids in Europe speak two languages. They get to see other cultures but our kids here in the United States don't get that," says Bryant. "When I was growing up in Italy it opened up a whole new world to me and I thought anything was possible."
