NJF Designs the Kisawa Sanctuary as a Tranquil Getaway

The Kisawa Sanctuary is a captivating and tranquil space to unwind -- it is designed by the resort founder and creative director Nina Flohr and her own design studio at NJF. The team worked in collaboration with Los Angeles-based Plus Design Group to create a harmonious look.

It is crafted with a focus on three main elements -- tranquility, biodiversity, and privacy. It is found about 12 km away from the Mozambique mainland and can only be accessed by boat or helicopter. There are residences that house one, two, or three bedrooms -- there are 11 bespoke bedrooms in total. Each one is assigned their own plot of one acre in order to provide privacy.
