The Worthympic Games

The Beijing Olympics have the world captivated, and that includes photographers, as we've demonstrated through Olympic-themed Flickr pools, and Photoshop addicts, as proven by The Worthympic Games 3 contest.

The Worthympic Games were put on by Worth1000.com, Trend Hunter's favourite Photoshop Contest site.

The rules? "Take any Olympic event, summer or winter, and crank it up a notch. Add some real danger. Think 'greased vaulting' or 'broken glass long jump', or 'lava cycling.'"

One of the only rules is that they're not allowed to include wild animals. This is pure human sport in the fiercest of elements.

The gallery includes ten of the coolest entries in the competition.
