Veiled Metallic Sculptures

Kevin Francis Gray has a Case of the Bronze Midas Touch

Kevin Francis Gray takes us back to the Bronze Age with these wonderful life-like sculptures. These sculptures are so well-made and realistic, I’m certain most viewers would believe that it’s actual people encased in bronze.

His sculpture of the bronzed couple is the most interesting. It consists of a man and woman on a high pedestals that are facing each other. As their heads are obscured with bronzed veils, you can only assume that they’re not too happy with each other by reading into their body language. Through my interpretation of their crossed arms and rigid stance, I know I wouldn’t want to be that bronzed man. That bronzed lady appears to be very peeved off at him.
