Rescue Cat Reality Shows

'Keeping Up with the Kattarshians' is a YouTube Show Starring Cats

'Keeping Up With The Kattarshians' is a video series on YouTube that plays off of the popularity of reality shows that provide a glimpse into the daily lives of celebrities and other TV personas.

The show is a project from the Icelandic Cat Protection Society and Icelandic production companies, which aims to raise awareness about pet rescue and adoption. The cast is made up of four rescue cats named Guðni, Ronja, Briet and Stubbur, all of which were abandoned and have now found new homes through the YouTube show.

Rather than just showing the cats roaming throughout a real house, Keeping Up With The Kattarshians is set in an oversized dollhouse that is furnished with items for the cats to climb, scratch and otherwise interact with. Those who are interested may check in on the kittens via live webcams, or check out weekly highlight reels of the best moments on YouTube.
