The Kaylad 2.0 Electric Tricycle Pushes for Active Transportation

The prospect of riding the Kaylad 2.0 Electric Tricycle to work would make most people more comfortable with the idea of avoiding their vehicles. Since too few Westerners feel the urge to exert added effort in the mornings, this three-wheeled contraption is a compelling compromise.

With his project, designer Dimitris Niavis strove to conceive an eco-friendly means of transportation that would encourage active commuting for the good of both the planet and the person. It's been integrated with a 250W motor to lure a larger base of users, offering a gauge of up to 75% powered assistance for hills and great distances. The Kaylad 2.0 Electric Tricycle is extremely lightweight with wheels similar to those of a road bicycle. Independent left and right suspensions make it a remarkably smooth ride.
