Artist Kasperowicz Focuses on the Eyes Only for His Latest Work

For his latest project, the artist Kasperowicz has blurred out most of the bodies and faces of his subject, with just the eyes revealed. The project is meant to pose the question of "how can we perceive people if they’re hidden?"

The project also draws motivation from certain religious garbs like the niqab, which covers up most of a person's face. Another angle for this project is the media and how when censoring certain images sometimes just the eyes are covered up. What's interesting is that the eyes here seem to be the most expressive part of the face, with people still being able to identify who is behind the photograph. This is an interesting take on censorship and how people are perceived in everyday life. Photo Credits: designboom, last-utopia.tumblr
