The Coop Group from Switzerland recently opened the Karma Supermarket, which is a new destination for an assortment of vegetarian and vegan products. The all-new vegetarian and vegan supermarket is now stationed inside of the high-traffic Zug train station, making it the largest of its kind in Switzerland.
The new store was launched in response to a growing demand for alternative plant-based products, including everything from fresh produce and cosmetics to beverages and cereals. Some of the other reasons that health-conscious consumers will be drawn to the store is for its in-house cafe, selection of bulk goods and in-store recipe demonstrations.
As well as there being a number of vegan-friendly eateries and supermarkets now opening up around the world, there are also clothing shops and other lifestyle boutiques appearing based off of similar values.
