Jill Stuart rocked her Fall 2009 show at New York Fashion week with a collection that the designer herself says was inspired by "iconic women of music."
Some of sartorial muses included French musician Françoise Hardy, Anita Pallenberg (actress who dated Keith Richards), American singer Stevie Nicks and Madonna.
The first part of Jill Stuart’s Fall 2009 collection was a splendid sea of ink black couture, with leathers and velvets and a hint of delicate lace (it is in style, you know).
