There can never been enough Jersey Shore publicity--at least, that is what the University of Chicago believes. The university has come out with their very own day-long Jersey Shore Conference on October 28th, which will focus on the academic side of the hit MTV reality show.
The Jersey Shore conference is designed to appeal to academics who enjoy the fields of cultural studies, sociology, anthropology, and of course, gender studies! The Jersey Shore conference will find a way to analyze Sammy and Ronnie’s fights, fist pumping rituals, and the GTL'ing ways of the Jersey Shore characters.
After all, the show must have some academic importance because it sure is making MTV and the characters a whole lot of money!
