Jeroen Peters, an independent photographer who seeks out architecture that has a "strong graphic character" to it, recently released a series called 'Spatial Interactions.'
The project gets its name from the unique contrasts that it highlights between the brutalist architecture in the images, and the empty spaces that they're situated in. To show this, Jeroen Peters crops the images he captures so that the architecture is shown against a simplistic backdrop, which usually shows either a clear blue sky or a body of water.
This allows the architecture itself to be at the forefront of each image, and all of the small details to be granted the attention that they deserve. All of the images are captured in European cities, such as Copenhagen, Amsterdam, Malmö, and Bilbao.
