Recently on Jeopardy viewers were treated to the category of the century, a Jeopardy rap category, 90s specifically. For those that don't understand how important that is, imagine the aging, but ever regal Alex Trebek spitting his own brand of Cypress Hill lyrics, in his signature Jeopardy answer format. It was as amazing as advertised.
Jeopardy asks their contestants questions from all over the spectrum, from history, to pop culture, to literature. While this category technically falls under the category of pop culture, it's a different brand of hilarious questionnaire.
What's funny isn't necessarily that Trebek spits these lyrics in a strange, old man way, but that the contestants are very aware and capable of answering them in similar fashion.
