Those who have always wanted to have a glimpse inside a modern Israeli home will do well to view interior designer Merav Sade's latest project. A stunning renovation of a 1950’s apartment in North Israel, the 230-square-foot space was expanded by an addition 330 square feet in order to accommodate a mother and daughter. Yet even without this added room, the Israeli home would have appeared spacious thanks to the flood of natural light, white walls and high ceilings.
Although predominantly contemporary, the Israeli home injected vintage touches here and there that brought a deeper sense of personality. With such careful touches, including "unique lighting fixtures" that bring "a dramatic touch without overpowering the rooms," writes Design Milk, the Israeli home is gorgeous standard.
