The device maintains a compact design around the size of an average can and works by being activated and placed inside the fridge where it will go to work capturing and neutralizing ethylene gas given off by produce. The device will also capture bacteria that can cause food spoilage to curb unpleasant odors and keep the air inside the appliance fresher.
The Ionizo Technology Jetro uses visible blue light to eradicate bacteria and also achieves negative ion technology to maintain fridge freshness. The unit will operate for up to a week per charge and has a washable filter to eliminate the need for disposable components.
