If you've ever wondered what bedtime is like for an octopus or sea slug, then "Invertebrate Sleep Habits" is for you. Created by Japanese artist Hiné Mizushima, this series of needle-felted dolls shows what happens when the ocean's spineless sea creatures go off to sleep. The dolls were made for an art exhibition titled In the Palm of Your Hand, which is currently running at Baltimore's EMP Gallery.
All of Mizushima's adorable dolls fit inside of a palm, so it's safe to say that the artist's work lived up to the exhibitions directive. While most sea creatures have a face only a sushi chef could love, "Invertebrate Sleep Habits" manages to make even the scariest squid and ugliest octopus look downright adorable.
