In December, The Waldorf Project will be presenting its innovative 'FUTURO - X' as a large-scale, interactive theater experience in Thailand.
In order to engage Millennial audiences in live arts, many immersive theater events have been created over the past few years that invite event-goers to share the spotlight with actors in some form or another. While FUTURO was performed in London by four dancers to an intimate audience of 40 people, FUTURO - X is set to introduce the next generation of theater by relying on artificial intelligence to "integrate every single person at the festival (5,000 people and 250 performers.)"
To truly make the "communal performance" the focus of the event, all lights and power will be turned off.
