Symbolic School Signage

The New School Presents an Intricate 3D Sign by Integral Ruedi Baur

Integral Ruedi Baur has come up with an original 3D sign for The New School based in New York City. The design is done "to play with perspective in a way that indicates a direction or floor level within the building," according to DesignBoom.

As onlookers move upwards, the perspective intensifies with every single floor of the school. This was done for symbolic purposes as the various colors are meant to represent the numerous subjects offered by the school (and perhaps the increasing intensity that comes with every level of study)! Either way this design by Integral Ruedi Baur is a perfect form of self-promotion for the school. Showing off its creative endeavours is sure to attract more students to its programs, and hopefully be better for business in the long run. Photo Credits: designboom, som
