The InMotion segway is about to bring the joy of segway travel to the average person. With a cheaper and lighter alternative to the competitor, this Segway-like piece presents the opportunity to make Segways a norm.
The Segway industry is in a weird spot. On the one hand, they're fun to use, original and cool, but on the other hand they're very expensive and also incredibly heavy, so unless you're actually riding on it, the Segway is difficult to move. The InMotion Segway is looking to make life a bit easier in that regard.
The InMotion Segway is visibly smaller than its predecessor and, as shown in the pictures, lighter. It can be lifted easily with one hand. Tourists are already using Segways to great use; something more portable is definitely a plus for those of us who are so inclined.
