Kaleidoscopic Jungle Tees

Marcelo Burlon Designs Kaleidoscopic Rave Inspired T-Shirt Collection

The Marcelo Burlon Fall/Winter 2012 T-shirt collection is a new approach to the tribal tee. The collection was created in collaboration with graphic designer Giorgio Di Salvo and touches on multicultural elements from Burlon's motherland of Patagonia, as well as raver and club culture. The result is a punchy and diverse array of wearable tees.

In reference to his work, Marcelo Burlon describes the collection as "clothing at its most basic and effective... a playground, a declaration of intents; a political manifesto, even." Burlon got some of his inspiration from Givenchy head designer Riccardo Tisci. Indeed, the same kaleidoscopic motif can be seen in Givenchy looks this season as well.

This collection of graphic tees by Marcelo Burlon captures the essence of modern youth culture: part vintage, part abstract, in-your-face and meaningful.
