The 'In Orbit' exhibit is an inventive piece of live art. The piece features a ferris wheel type structure that houses two men meant to live within it. Ward Shelley and Alex Schweder created the piece and it's a true lesson in co-habitation. The structure is built to have the pieces necessary for living within and outside of it and the two performers are meant to live on and in it.
Performance art is fun because it’s much more than simply looking at the beauty of something and more of how it’s being performed. The In Orbit exhibit shows how two people would live in a rotating house if they had to rely on each other for help. In order for one to reach things like the bed or a chair, for example, he needs help from the other participant.
