Ikra Arshad is Tapped for the Pod 5 Artist Residency by East Quay

East Quay enlists an artist as a part of their annual Pod 5 Artist Residency and this year, it taps London-based artist Ikra Arshad. The residency invites a creative to reside in and transform a small living space dubbed Pod 5. It is located in the UK's Watchet in West Somerset.

Arshad is known for her large-scale mural work and art installation -- she is to stay in the space for two weeks and work on the space. She details the home with pastel tones and monochromatic themes that are met with geometric patterns. The result is a lively and bright environment with each color chosen representing a local meaning.
