Crafty Floating Cabins

Iceberg Retreat Provides an Abstract Vacation Spot

The Iceberg Retreat is a serene vacation spot that is located (literally) on the Baltic Sea. Cabins at the retreat float on the water, with part of the structure submersed below sea level.

Sixty per cent of each Iceberg Retreat cabin is underwater, thus creating less need for extra energy usage such as air conditioning. Tenants can also enjoy a safe underwater view through the cabin's many sealed windows.

The Iceberg Retreat cabins are not only unique, but impeccably designed. With architect Daniel Andersson to thank, the cabins are each a living space on water as opposed to a simple houseboat.
