Humanist Beauty is a "Radically Inclusive" Beauty Brand

Humanist Beauty, the self-proclaimed "radically inclusive" natural skincare brand, promotes adaptive cosmetics and color diversity. The brand was launched by Jennifer Norman and is committed to creating vegan, cruelty-free, and sustainable products for all people.

As part of its larger commitment to inclusivity, Humanist Beauty is dedicated to serving communities that have been historically underserved in the beauty industry -- including people of color and people with disabilities. To address the gap in the market, the brand created a Braille ID band that snaps onto their signature Herban Wisdom Facial Oil. Norman was inspired by other brands in the field, including L'Occitane and Unilver.

The Facial Oil Braille ID band was created in partnership with Candoable and serves those with blindness or severe visual impairment. The Braille ID Band has an easy-to-read "Facial Oil" in Grade 2 Unified English Braille (UEB) molded into the front, and the corresponding text is also engraved on the inside. The band quickly and securely fits on both the 1 oz and 0.5 oz Facial Oil bottles.
