Under Armour Releases its Smart Footwear 'HOVR' Shoe

Under Armour just released the 'HOVR' shoe, crafted with various technological innovations. It has implemented cushioning technology for comfort and is available in two different styles -- the 'HOVR Sonic' and the 'HOVR Phantom.' In addition to the cushion technology, the brand also implements energy return. The main technology is the blend of the shoe design, material, and connecting technology that allows the tracker users wear on their wrist to be put on the shoes.

The 'Energy Web' is a mesh fabric material that coats around the cushioning center to enable high responsive results and a quick energy return, allowing for higher performance. The HOVR Sonic shoe is lightweight, weighing 272 grams and is suitable for distance runners, whereas the HOVR Phantom has a knit-sock collar and all around cushioning for daily wear. Both HOVR shoes have the high fidelity sensors incorporated within.
