House of Yards is built on a hill that overlooks the Rhine, which is a river valley running from the Netherlands, through Austria and Germany, and into Switzerland. The idyllic natural site is the most beautiful aspect of the home, which is why Marte.Marte chose to frame it for bathers. The House of Yards' pool runs to the edge of the house's patio, and an open section of the concrete wall gives those swimming a section through which they can take in the picturesque views.
